Erick spent the ‘90s on Capitol Hill learning how to succeed inside the Beltway from legendary members of the House and Senate. He won the U.S. Capitol Police Service Award for meritorious acts in 1994. In 2002, he was selected to produce the historic Joint Session of Congress at Ground Zero in to commemorate the anniversary of 9-11.
Launching Mullen & Company in 2003, Erick used quantitative analysis to rethink political campaign strategy away from static cultural norms to a dynamic rational approach to deliver winning strategies and pioneering narrowcasting digital advertising for corporate public affairs. In 2013, Erick joined the world-class team at Mercury Public Affairs as a Managing Director where he honed his one-of-a-kind value proposition. Today, his practice area at Class Five Strategies is the crosscurrents litigation, publicity, and political risk. Erick is hired to manage urgent situations that have implications on the reputations of top brands, luminaries, high-net-worth individuals, and family offices.
Erick served seven years on the Board of Trustees of the Lowell School, he sits on the Board of Directors of Plastics Free America. He is a member of several service organizations including the John Carroll Society, the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels, the Society of Sons of the American Revolution.
Charles P. Halloran is a trusted C-Suite executive, campaign advisor, and business partner with over three decades of experience building profitable business enterprises, turning around campaigns and organizations in crisis, achieving public policy outcomes, and winning political campaigns. A respected problem solver with a unique set of communications, policy, and political skills who has run challenging organizations ranging in size from large trade associations to new venture startups. Charles provides expert consulting in public affairs, communications, and governmental relationships, particularly for fintech and financial services industries. His approach is highly sought after, especially for revitalizing distressed startups. Previously, as the Chief Operating Officer at the Community Financial Services Association of America, he spearheaded operations and strategic visions that significantly bolstered the association’s standing within consumer lending sectors.
His early career contributions include co-founding Centennial Communications Company in Atlanta and establishing a special projects division at Hill + Knowlton Strategies in New York. He earned degrees from Emory University and the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law. He is active in the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. He and his wife live in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
